About CrewPay Trip Calculator

CrewPay Trip Calculator was created by flight crew members for flight crew members. Designed specifically for pilots and flight attendants, our goal is to simplify daily trip pay estimations, per diem totals, and boarding pay tracking in one clean, mobile-first interface.

The idea came from a familiar frustration: standing at a gate or sitting in a hotel room trying to work out on a phone whether a trip was actually worth flying. Contract language is dense, pay statements arrive well after the fact, and the numbers that matter are scattered across a bid package, a contract PDF, and a payroll portal. We wanted one small tool that could answer a single question quickly: what is this pairing likely to pay me?

Everything here is built around that question. There are no accounts to create, no schedule to import, and no data to upload. You enter your own credit hours, TAFB, boardings, and the rates from your own agreement, and the estimate appears immediately. Because the rates are yours, the same page works for a regional first officer, a senior widebody purser, a cargo captain, and a charter flight attendant without any of them being treated as an afterthought.

How we think about your privacy

Pay is personal. That belief shapes how the calculator is built: your inputs stay in your browser for the length of your session and are discarded when you reload or close the page. We do not maintain a database of crew salaries, and no other visitor can see anything you typed. When you email yourself a trip summary, the message is composed in your own email client and sent from your own account, so the record belongs to you.

The site is supported by advertising and occasional affiliate links to gear crews actually use on the road. Those partners may set cookies as described in our privacy policy, and we keep that disclosure plain rather than buried. Advertising never influences the math: the formula is published openly in the FAQ so you can check it yourself.

What this tool is not

CrewPay Trip Calculator produces estimates, not payroll records. It cannot see your airline's systems and does not know your contract's rigs, premiums, reroute rules, or pay protections. Taxes, union dues, insurance, and retirement contributions are outside its scope, so the figure it shows is gross rather than take-home. Always treat your airline's official statement as the authoritative source and raise any discrepancy with your payroll department or union representative.
